Apple Passing Game

This Game was quite the ice breaker.

Rules were as follows,

You must pass the apple to the person next
to you using nothing but your neck.

The Fall Fair - Doughnut Eating Contest

This was the first activity at the Fall Fair.

All the doughnuts were tied to a string and hung on the volleyball net. The rules were you could not use your hands and whoever ate their doughnut first was the winner.

Fall Fair 2008 with the Holladay 11th ward

The fall fair was a lot of fun and included many different activities. We did a doughnut eating contest, pass the apple (only using your neck to pass them), a pie eating contest, bowling with pumpkins and a few more fun activities. Lots of people came and it turned out to be a pretty grand affair! Thanks FHE committee!

Fall Fair - October 6

Remember the days of Halloween parties in elementary school, or maybe games in seminary when you would pass the orange nestled in your neck to the next person in line without using your hands? Well, those days are back!

The FALL FAIR, combined with the 11th ward, will have them all! Pumpkin bowling, Donut-on-a-string eating contest, Lifesaver-Toothpick game, Costume Relays, Mini-pumpkin Passing, Root Beer and Orange Soda floats, caramel apples... just imagine the fun!

The Fall Fair will be held at the ward at 7pm on October 6. Costumes are welcome, but not required. Just bring your friends and roommates to enjoy the fun. We'll see you all there!

Rock Climbing

Rock climbing was a blast! Thanks to Erik Haslam and his buddies for getting all the gear and setting up all the ropes, etc for us. Check out the fun pictures from that night.

We'll see you all next week, Monday Sept 22 for touch football--afterall, it is football season! 7pm at Cottonwood Elementary!

This Sunday, September 14, is our Regional Conference. Do not meet at the ward, but head to the Conference Center downtown instead. The Regional Conference begins at 10am... don't be late!

Monday, September 15 FHE- rock climbing at Pete's Rock at the base of Mt Olympus! Meet at 7pm at the ward
The ward will provide the shoes, harnesses, and helmets. Just bring your friends with you! (Headlamps are also a good idea as the sun begins to set)
